Question (complete): I really want to visit my family up north and attend my daddy’s annual pool party. The way my finances are looking it seems impossible, but will I be able to scrap enough money to fly home for a week at the end of August? Plus, I really want to see my ex. Will this trip be successful?

Why don’t you ask “daddy” and ex to buy you a ticket. You are planning on a commercial flight, aren’t you?
If daddy can afford a pool then he can buy you a ticket. Where I come from you have to be very wealthy to afford a pool and it’s maintenance.

Why do you say, We have a very huge ego, don’t we? I don’t think I have a huge ego. I’m still trying to figure out at 28 that I’m awesome. You must think I’m some spoiled brat, but I’m not. My impulsive nature has got me into many situations and I wanted to inquire before I jumped right in as always.
Plus! My daddy is going to buy my airfare. I’m not for sure where your from, but there’s plenty of people out there with above ground pools. He ain’t rich…damn I wish he was though. He works extremely hard for everything he has.
