Oh. My. Goddess. You are so right, Liah!

There are major forces moving through your life now. I’m getting the impression things were pretty sweet there for awhile, but now your family ‘stuff’ is getting shaken loose, the money’s gone to crap (or just about gone) and everyone around you you thought was stable is getting shaken up. You’re getting tossed around by their turbulance as well as the stuff going on inside you. IT SUCKS to be you right now.

This is your wakeup call, Liah. You’re finding out stuff about yourself and those around you didn’t know — stuff you didn’t want to know in some cases — but you’re gonna survive this. How you survive it is up to you, though.

You can keep holding onto your illusions even as they die, then lie there in the mess, getting all bitter and hateful about how you’ve been let down. This is a very common path that sets you up for even more misery later on.

Or you can take a couple deep breaths and something for your stomach, then take a clear, hard look at what’s going on. Some of this from stuff you’ve done; a lot of it’s stuff others are doing or have done in the past. The only thing is, you’ve got to face where you are and who you are right now and move forward even though it looks nearly impossible. Time moves whether we’re ready or not, and circumstances change. It’s up to you whether you cling to the turmoil or get up and wade through it.
