No, you two are NOT soul mates. You are just passing ships in the night right now. Your year is going to be one of building your life for your future. It will be an incredibly busy one, and yes there will be a relationship for you within the next 6 months, but not with William. Just do not go looking for it… the person will find you where and when you least expect it.
As for William, he is not interested in a long term relationship right now. He just got out of one and he wants to be free for a while.

Oh Belligerent one, I must agree with you about the soul mates questions… It always frustrates me that a woman thinks she cannot live without “another half”.
