Question (continued): and had a daughter a few years later. I haven’t fished High School, and currently work part time in a deli, while my husband works full time. We are doing alright financially, at least we are paying off debts, keeping up with bills, and have a little left over, but I feel incredibly unfulfilled. I love my family, and they come first, but this isn’t what I had planned for my life. I wanted to go to college, make something of myself. I feel I have the mind to do it, and I know I have plenty of time. I guess my question is more about WHAT I should do, not how I should do it. What career would suit me? I have so many passions, but I have narrowed it down to either Psychology ( main emphasis on childhood trauma and sexual dysfunction), Pharmacuticals, or Drug Counseling. All have different classes, times for degrees, and requirements. So, Bitches, have any insight for me? Any clues as to my personality that might help me achieve this goal? I would be so thankful for the help, I am a little stuck here.

OJO,
The first problem is that you did not deal with the root of your issue. To move forward in a healthy manner, you must first reconcile with your past. It is not possible to truly run away from a problem.
Everyone has the power to change the course of their life by changing your choices. The first choice you can change to set things on a better course is to stop running and at least within yourself, deal with why you needed to leave home.
If you are inclined to traditional therapy, then seek that help out, if you are more inclined towards alternative healing paths then I would seek out Reiki or Arch Healing, Biorhythm, etc.
I am a Reiki practitioner, Reiki is a healing method that clears the connection of your energy to that of the Universal Healing Energy. It is non religious and non invasive and can be done hands on or distance. Aside from myself, there are many many Reiki practitioners around.
Success will be more difficult, not impossible to achieve, but more difficult for as long as you put off healing. Start at the beginning, healing the self, then getting your GED, then look at college. Yes that is a wonderful goal, but until you start taking steps to bring it to reality, it is nothing more than a dream. So get off your ass and get busy!
